PLAY EVENT HERE
The African Institute of International Law Institute (“the Institute”) proposes to organize, under its aegis, a series of webinars on curated aspects of international law and African Union (AU) Law. The webinars will convene some of the most renowned experts in the proposed fields to deliver lectures on agreed topics in African Union (AU) and International Law.
The first series of the webinars will be held on a monthly basis, from May to December 2021. In furtherance of the Institute’s mandate, the webinars have been designed to provide an avenue for substantive engagement and continuous learning for African international law practitioners; State officials and employees of African regional organizations; researchers and students; and similarly motivated audiences.
Mindful of the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has precipitated a move to virtual learning, training and other activities, the Institute has developed this programme to sustain its underlying mission and extend access to its activities to a much wider audience across and outside Africa. The webinar project is only one of such virtual projects that will ensure that the benefits of the Institute’s activities are available to and engage a broader, more diverse audience and range of facilitators.
